Chapter in Context is designed around one simple rule: readers should be able to tell the difference between the biblical text, information drawn from sources, and our editorial interpretation.

01

Four visible content layers

01

Biblical text

Scripture is displayed as its own layer and identified by translation. The current preview uses KJV as the primary text and WEB or ASV only for reading comparison.

02

Source data

Original-language forms, transliterations, Strong's identifiers, and sample occurrences point to reviewable lexical data. A lexicon number is never treated as a complete interpretation.

03

Editorial synthesis

Context summaries, reading paths, difficult-term explanations, and cross-references are labeled as editorial work. They support reading; they do not replace the passage.

04

AI-assisted drafts

Automation may help structure drafts, but generated material stays separate from publication until reviewed. AI output is not presented as biblical text or scholarly authority.

02

Original-language notes

Language notes use visible forms, transliterations, Strong's identifiers, sample occurrences, and links to STEP Bible data. They are concise study aids, not a substitute for grammar, textual criticism, or a full lexicon.

03

Translation comparison

KJV is the current primary reading text. WEB and ASV are comparison aids. Wording differences do not automatically prove a manuscript difference; users should verify a published edition and the Hebrew or Greek text before academic citation.

04

Corrections and revision

Every guide can be challenged. If a reference, explanation, source, or wording appears inaccurate, report the exact passage through the feedback form. Corrections are reviewed before the prepared guide is updated.

What this product is not

It is not a new Bible translation, denominational authority, replacement for pastoral care, or substitute for studying Scripture in community. Dates and historical reconstructions may be approximate, and interpretive alternatives are included when they materially affect the reading.
